We have 2 cats. One of which is long haired and white, so you can imagine what anything black must look like in our closet. LOL! Our solution is to sit on the hard kitchen chairs and not the couch. I think the low point was hearing a mother of five teens and pre-teens say "That is it. Next time I am leaving you at home." One of my regular readers at my web page is a guy who has lived in Australia for decades (I'm in Rhode Island) but who went to high school with me and found m on the Internet. The use of "decades" was meant literally, not figuratively -- we were high school graduating class of 1961. I've also heard from several other classmates as well as from two brothers who were part of my neighborhood gang of friends when we were in grade school. It is amazing how the Internet can renew connections. One of the first few times Bryan spent the night on a worknight, we were sitting and having coffee before I took him to the train. Kelli jumped up in his lap and before I could finish shouting "watch your cup!" she turned around and stuck her butt up in the air right under his coffee cup and pretty much emptied the entire thing onto his shirt. Luckily, he had the shirt he'd worn the night before. That maneuver is known as "assing the coffee" and it was one of her signature moves. Coffee is actually incredibly appropriate.
